Dr Preston has been compiling your exam papers for our competitions...
James is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Nottingham.
James has been with the University of Nottingham for a while, having completed his bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Engineering, his PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Education and his PhD in Mathematical Medicine and Biology there James' PhD focused on modelling bacterial infections mathematically and computationally, exploring the interactions between bacteria, the immune response and potential treatment strategies for difficult bacterial infections. James has experience teaching maths at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, as well as on a wide array of degree programmes at the Higher Education level, including mathematics, chemical engineering, civil engineering, and business and accounting.
